Directors Nick Roney and Owen Schwartzbard crafted something original and haunting in their stunningly well-made clip for LA-based independent Hip-Hop artist KATO’s “Black Sand”.
I haven’t found a whole lot of information about the emcee himself, but from what I have found the video is the product of a very modest Indiegogo campaign, which makes it all the more impressive.
The subtle but complex syllables and downtempo beats of “Black Sand” can be found on KATO’s debut album ‘A Summer in Space Beach’, which is for sale via his Bandcamp page.
