The ladies of the all-female, all-keyboard, band Au Revoir Simone are back with a new Summertime-ready single titled “Somebody Who”.
It’s sexy, melodic, danceable, and melancholy, all at once; like The Cure gone rollerdisco, or a forlorn Madonna moping around Danceteria.
Seems like it’d go real nice in the mix with Solange’s “Losing You”, ya know if people still mixed records and “singles” were still a thing.
Anyway, “Somebody Who” is the first single from Au Revoir Simone’s new album ‘Move in Spectrums’, which is out September 24th on Instant Records.
