Long time Imageyenation favorites of Montreal came in under the radar last year with the release of their decidedly “band-y” ‘Lousy With Sylvianbriar’ LP.
Standout cut “She Ain’t Speakin’ Now” filters ’60s Rock-isms through some ’90s Grunge with a side of Ennio Morricone for good measure.
The accompanying video clip, directed by frontman Kevin Barnes’ squeeze Nina, is pretty lo-fi and retro, in a very “VHS of ‘120 Minutes’ episodes” way, as well.
