When I heard Madonna’s “Living for Love” the first time I thought it sounded like Hot Chip must’ve written and produced it.
I quickly figured out that Diplo was behind the classic club beats and a team of writers responsible for the lyrics, but that didn’t change how I felt about the tune.
No bullshit, I fucking love this song!
The House-inspired production, soulful vocal, and uplifting lyrics are classic Madonna, and the video, which hearkens back to “Take a Bow” is just the icing on the cupcake.
“Living for Love” is from the Queen of Pop’s forthcoming thirteenth album, ‘Rebel Heart’, which is due out March 6th via the Interscope label.
